BERECROFT REROOFING IMPORTANT NEWS

Dear Resident,

Fire Prevention Repair Works to the Roofs of Houses on the Berecroft Estate

Following my letter of 9^th July 2010, I am writing to inform you that we have appointed a Party Wall Surveying Company called Pellings LLP to provide Party Wall Surveyor services. Pellings will be in contact with you shortly, but in the meantime I wanted to take this opportunity to explain the process involved with the Party Wall Act.

Berecroft tenants threaten to withhold their rent over fire safety concerns

Furious tenants living on the fire-ravaged Berecroft estate are threatening to withhold their rent until work to improve the safety of their homes starts.

Two devastating fires have now ripped through the estate in under 10 months, but work to address fire safety concerns raised in the wake of the first blaze in July 2009 has yet to begin.
